Having watched the 1946 film, "The Best Years of Our Lives," on TV (again)....

As it's one of my hobbies, I wanted to find an example of the jukebox that briefly appeared in one of the scenes. Having to replay the few seconds of of the clip I finally managed to recognise it.

    It was a Wurlitzer 850 from 1941.

I found an example on YouTube. I love this era of jukeboxes, the styles of decoration, (belatedly) moved from Art Nouveau like this, in the late thirties to early forties then to Art Deco, in the late forties and early fifties.

I can't imagine how much this seventy year-old completely restored machine would be worth today.
The owner has several different early models.

I really appreciate watching any informative YouTube video, where the person making it hasn't got to "get in on the act," with a long "in your face" introduction.
