Where Can I buy Standard Fuscias in the North

    Can any one advise me where I can buy good standard fuscias in Yorkshire or the surrounding areas?

    Hi Pat, not sure how high quality you want, but Wilko's (if you have one near you?) were selling some nice looking standard fuchsia's last week; they were about 24-30" in height, didn't notice a price though.

    I do not know what I did but I regret it now
    35 years ago, I saw a beutiful fushia TREE, I took six cuttings with flowers on
    Stuck them in a milk bottle filled with water on the kitchen windowsill
    after four weeks roots appeared,
    I went to the back garden and stuck them in and got wonderful fushias, only they got bigger and bigger, I cut them down, dug them out but still they come, spreading along the border
    I have even tried weedkiller, but can not get rid, they come up each year, it is lovely to look at and covered in bees, only it is hard work cutting back each year, or next year it will be 8' high

    come dig mine out m1 junc 29 youe welcome to it :) ..soz but i dont like the smell of them its so strong aswell xx
