Where did I get my yellow carrots from?

I've just been clearing out the last of the carrots that got left in the ground before the freezing weather started last year.

The only variety that's withstood the freezing conditions over winter was a yellow carrot that I'm sure was a free gift, trial pack, etc. for somewhere, and it may have been a few years ago.

    Can anyone recall these?

EDIT: Looking around it appears 'Yellowstone' may be the only candidate, as it's sold by T&M and I normally only order from them if I've a £5 voucher and there's some extras/special offers, and looking on eSeeds I see it's described as "Launched recently" which also fits in with it possibly being a promotional launch pack.

Anybody else left them in the ground over winter?

Sorry Scrunge, missed this one earlier.

My BBC dig in carrots overwintered perfectly without damage despite being burried under snow.

Were the BBC Dig In carrots yellow ones, because I had their seeds last year?

P.S. Just in case I re-checked my labels this morning which I place tight up to the row pegs. First one was 'salad leaves' and on turning it round saw 'Lakeland' written on the back - free is my favourite price for seeds. The next one labelled 'carrot' had 'Lidl' on the back, so I pulled out the label with 'yellow' written on it, turned it round, got excited when I saw there was something written on the back which was .............................. 'carrot'.

Well, it wasn't from the BBC because I found that (AK?) pkt a while ago.

I wondered whether the yellow ones survived better because of a higher sugar content acting as anti-freeze, but I checked the sugar content of juice from the failed reds against the yellow survivors using a refractometer and it was basically the same.

So I've ordered a pkt of T&M 'Yellowstone' carrots today, taking advantage of free P&P this weekend + 20% discount for using Code REWG01. I do like a brightly coloured stir fry using yellow carrots, yellow toms, yellow courgettes, yellow peppers, etc.
