All the flowers have come off my Bleeding heart and it doesn't seem to be producing anymore. Is this normal? and will it come back to life??

Like the clematis, these may flower again if you deadhead them. We has a really heavy hailstorm the other day which damaged my bleeding heart flowers and clematis Louise Rowe and Miss Bateman.

Nice one for that, didn't realise that you had to dead head a Clematis. I'll try that and let you know the outcome. [IMG]

Hi, just seen your other post ,didn't realise it was a clematis montana, I don't know if these would flower again, I was thinking of the larger flowered ones, sorry, but does apply to dicentra, they will usually flower abit longer if you deadhead.

Thanks for that thought Liz. I will give it a try. Dicentra has been very disappointing this year. The last couple of years it flowered for 10 weeks, but this year - short and battered.
