    Hi,

I'd like to buy many ivy plants of reasonable height.

Does anyone know of a reputable nursery which sells online?

Also can i now transplant a white azalea from pot to bed or is it too early?

    Many thanks

Hi, you will need to harden the azalea off first-I presume it is indoors currently.

Ivy-a difficult one because there doesn`t seem too much call for it except in hanging baskets.

I would go to a local garden centre and have a look to be honest, you get to choose those with the amount of growth you are looking for. Mail order isn`t always best.

Firstly don't buy lots of ivy. Just buy a few. You can cut the bits of the stem where the arial roots are and plant them. Save you money.

Your azalea can be planted any time if it is in a pot but after the severe winter I would wait a while yet until the ground warms a little. Put plenty of peat in the hole you dig and give it a good feed of ferrous.

As a matter of curiosity why do you want lots of ivy?

Good idea, I did that and got a lovely variegated one of a decent size for £7.00.
