Now that I have had yet another project spring to mind this weekend, as in to produce a wild flower/grass area where the log stack is, my first question is where/who is the best seed merchant to use?

For ref, the area is approx 30 sq metres, is a mixture of sun and shade, has next to no top soil before hitting clay, sandstone and builders rubble. I am also currently guessing that what top soil is there, is probably acid. I'll take a couple of readings tomorrow to check.

    Many thanks for the links.

Your S in L is a very lucky lad if his job is creating wild meadows etc. I would imagine that it is very rewarding for him, to go back and see how they look after a number of years of becoming established.
