Picked both the varieties I tried this year. I have been growing Bedford Fillbasket for years, but I find it "blows" badly. Every year I intend to stake the plants, but never remember to :(

Also grew Bedford Winter Harvest this year. Buttons suffered much less blowing

Figures show the Grams of cleaned up sprouts / Grams of unusable waste

    Bedford Winter Harvest 8.1 / 5.6 = 13.7 picked weight

    Bedford Fillbasket 6.3 / 7.3 = 13.6 picked weight

More than half the picked weight was thrown away for Bedford Fillbasket ...

... the family universally prefered the flavour of Bedford Fillbasket though.

Who could resist a name like Bedford Fillbasket?

Mine have "blown" this year, but mostly sideways, I appear to be growing a ground hugging variety.
Brigitte F1, some of the lower ones have blown, but if you pick from the bottom as soon as they start to form I dont think that would happen.
