I'm curious to find out which editing software you use for your photo's (if any). Do you use a specialised one bought seperately or a basic one that came supplied with your camera.

I use Micrografx Picture Publisher, no longer available since Corel bought them out and dropped it. I started using it in 1991, V.2 came with our first scanner, I now have the last version v.10, I'll keep using it until Microsoft upgrade things so much that it no longer runs.

I also use Picasa freeby from Google, has probably the easiest to use horizon or vertical straightening tool ever. It's also useful for searching through all your pics.

Another freeby I sometimes use which is almost as good as photoshop is The GIMP, it has a Linux version as well as Windoze.

Paint Shop Pro 8 for a lot of stuff. Photoshop Elements 2 to a lesser degree. (both bought).
I've now started doing some photos in RAW format so am using Canon Digital Photo Professional 3.3 (came with camera) and Photomatix (bought) for faffing about with HDR images.

When I grow up, or win the lottery - whichever is the sooner, I'll get Photoshop CS2 like Alasdair:thumb:

Adobe PhotoDeluxe Home Edition 4.0 website

Very old but I find it does pretty much what I need and in ways that I understand!
