    Hi,
I started growing veggies in my garden a couple of years ago. I am a bit clueless but I still enjoy getting out there.
Last year I planted loads of elephant garlic cloves. They came up but I think I planted them at the wrong time and they started to wilt so I picked them and they were great. They looked just like garlics but not large.
Back in November time I noticed some shoots coming up which looked identical and smell really strong of garlic. I picked one and it looked like a spring onion but smelled garlic.
I have left the others to continue growing but the anticipation has been killing me so today I dug another one up. It looks just like a leek but again, really strong garlic smell.
I have uploaded a photo and would like to ask the community, if left, will this turn into an elephant garlic or has somebody planted some leeks in my garden without me knowing :th scifD36:

Looks like a baby elephant garlic to me :spinning:
Leeks don't usually have the bulbous swelling at the base, until very elderly - stick with them. Will have fingers crossed for you :)
