    Hello.

I have a north facing bay window and wonder what plants might be most suitable to put in the north-west corner? A croton, perhaps?

    Thank you

Big or small plant? I love Scheffleras (or Brassaia), they become large plants in time and they can put up with a lot of shade, at least the green ones . Variegated foliage usually require a lot more sun. North-west may be a tad too shady for a croton.

Thanks for that. Biggish. To cover the north-west corner , or much of it.

There are some climbers that will do also, but they need a support (like a ... ah moss-stick?) in the pot so they can be a bit less graceful that a freely growing plant. Cissus, rhoicissus, philodendrons and syngoniums would do, and fatsedera, and also monstera, but this last will take its time growing in a shady placeand then finally turn into an unmanageable strangling monster (it is aptly named).
