which way should it face

    Been given a green house some glass missing [​IMG] dismantle and move with help from family..

    The neighbours say it should go north/south but due to limits on the site it may need to go east/west'ish am likley to have problems.

    What do the experts here recommend. :cool:

    For my twopenny worth, should be fine whatever the position as long as it has light and is not overshadowed by buildings or trees. The long side facing north/south gets the most sunlight in winter, but in summer needs shading. The short sides facing north/south just means that you have to more carefull positioning your plants - and turning them.

    yes def avoid shade
    otherwise i d put it where it looks natural... a little path leading to a feature.....also a cold frame will double your plant raising cabability
