    Hallo,

    after demanding about green-flowering annuals in my last thread (thanks everyone who gave suggestions), I'm now going to ask you about a slightly different subject.

    This time, I need to fill a bed using WHITE and BLUE flowering annual.
    These plants must be possibly hardy, good performers, with a long and summer flowering period. Even perennials can work, when buy in plugs, but have to be fast-growing plants and not too obviously contemporary (planting set in Osborne House, Victorian walled garden...).

    Thanks, bye
    G.

    Giulio, why are you expecting us to do the work for you? All you have to do is pick up a seed catalogue and your problem is solved. Wether you want blue, white or green flowered annuals the answer is in a seed catalogue which we all use.:scratch::thumbsup:

        Dai - because the catalogues will ALWAYS say "great performer" or such like! We can be a little objective maybe........

        Any way, my offerings are..........
        Annuals;
        Torenia? Someone may id from the photo. Blooms all summer long............
        Picture 14995.jpg

        Linum. unsure of the species again so photo below. Grows to 40 or 50cm. The flowers are small but plentiful, and spectacular in full sun...........

        Fast growing perennials that I've seen sold as plugs;
        Campanula, especially persicifolia................

        .............and C.glomerata.
