Hi Woo,It sounds like Mrs Woo has bought home what is known as Zantedeschia Aethiopica {Crowborough} which has the white flowers. It grows to a height of 36inches with a spread of 24inches.It is a perennial and has large arrow-shaped leaves and long-stalked white flowers in summer. It will grow in shallow water. It's other names are Easter Lily and Lily of the Nile.
It likes sun or partial shade...
    Good Luck [IMG]

I don't think Arum Lily's eat fish Woo :D :D If it says they can go into ponds then they must be ok.You could always feed the fish to the Herons, then you won't have a worry. You will be doing the wildlife a favour and filling your pond with a beautiful flowering plant :D :D

You might have to Google as I am not sure about that one, sorry

Woo,just Googled and it said the plant is an eye and skin Irratant so make sure you wear gardening gloves if your skin is sensitive
