White Fly ?

    I have a small outbreak of white fly in my greenhouse, any ideas on how to control it, I am not organic and would use chemicals, however every bit of advice helpfull.

    I always keep an aerosol of provado handy for those small outbreaks of pests. Its good as it doesn't wet the plant like those ready mixed trigger sprays do, which I dont like in the winter in a damp greenhouse.

    fly strips!! there's a thread about this somewhere, I think in greenhouse gardening! :D

    If you have a small outbreak you could gently rub the scales (eggs) off of the undersides of the leaves and squashing any adults at the same time. Laborious I know but it helps reduce the spread.I do it on our trichophyla fuchsias once a week. [​IMG]
