took these pics at my local quarry nature reserve

 

Great pics rosa - geese are very photogenic... and they know it !

Love the last one with the little coot popping his head up over the bank:hehe:

many thanks cookie and pal, went to the quarry on my way back from shopping weather isnt so clever today a bit dull and cold up there, pal hes sitting on a rock in the water hehe

 

Why don't you do a post on our Location Gazeteer to give your quarry a mention? It would be nice to know all the different types of wildlife you can see there!
