One stem of my Pandorea jasminoides Variegated has gone white with tiny green dots. All other stems are normal. What could this be and should I remove the stem?

    Weird, @noisette47 might know something.
Did it grow like that or has it gone like that.

Jim said it has been growing like that as he has been watching it! I only noticed it this morning when I went to look at the Hibiscus. It is growing along the ground by the Hibiscus.

Probably just an over variegated shoot that will die back any way.
    No chlorophyll hardly.

Hi, it can happen on most variegated plants. Don't ask me why It won't necessarily die off. It's still getting fed from the main plant. More likely to burn, though.

Plant is about 15+ years old and this has never happened before. Rest of plant is fine. Thanks both.

Thank you for your contribution Christine and Welcome to GC. This is just so odd for this plant of many years. This is it entwined with a Honeysuckle last Summer ... Baffio2 10 Jun.jpg
