Whitley Bay Lighthouse

    went along to whitley bay lighthouse today see there is a fire engine there dont know why no fire over there as far as i can see.

    Great to see that blue sky..
    Im guessing the fire truck was there for an inspection of the lighthouse or the properties there.
    I used to deal with the rescue guys and usually one engine would turn up at the treatment site and we would do the business with the dangerous chemicals etc:
    There was always one driver left on board to take any calls and he would blast his siren if he got a shout via the radio. This would call the team back to the engine.

    capney cos the weather is so great today thought i would get a long and take some pics, just sent 3 in to tyne tees television as they put peoples pics up after the news and weather hoping they put 1 of mine up tonight.
    first time ive ever seen fire engines at the lighthouse there was 2 , 1 of them was in the car park as you say could be inspection

    I had a sunrise on Yorkshire TV weather awhile back now.

    capney my pic wasnt put up after the weather never mind they could put it up anytime i guess we shall see.
    pal when you come to whitley bay make sure weather is lovely its not nice here when we get the chilled winds off the north east sea and when you come let me know and we could meet up for coffee would love to meet you and mrs pal, iff its a saturday we normally go to a local pub in the centre of town
