Who Said That Pheasants Are Clumsy?

Pheasants have been coming to our bird feeder for at least ten generations. They are in the garden every day and the babies are quite often wandering around the patio.

Although they have learnt to fly up on to the crossbar of the feeder, at a height of 6ft, and balance there whilst eating I have never seen this before


One of the females flew up and balance on one foot on the tiny ring that small birds stand on.














Her husband looked a bit surprised at first but not particularly impressed. That's men for you!
