Why do my Cyclamen flowers not hold up?

I recently bought some Cyclamen coum plants with flower buds on them, planted them out just before Christmas.

The flower buds still seem to be lying down on the ground. Do they eventually lift themselves up off the ground?

They will probably sort themselves out to some extent.
If you have just planted them from pots I suspect they have had light coming from all different directions, once settled they can then orientate them to the new growing position.

Probably will be much better next year though.

Thanks for advice, yes maybe it is just a case of being patient, and the flowers, and leaves, will learn through something like phototropism or geotropism to grow upright instead of along the ground. Maybe they will be better when the corms get bigger and make more flowers, which support each other from their density.

There are some stunningly beautiful photographs of Cyclamen on the Cyclamen Society website, all the flowers standing upright en masse. It probably takes years to get a Cyclamen corm to do that, and a lot more know how than I have.
