It seems to be some kind of mould? It's a bit fluffy in places, but mostly it just covers the strawberry's surface. Just when they were starting to ripen, too. Can anyone please advise? mouldy strawberry.jpg

Maybe a silly suggestion, but are they the white variety?

I bought some plants a few years ago and they have produced some fruit that don't turn red and I have just picked them when I have thought they are ripe and they have tasted perfect.

I also bought some of the Pineberry variety and they haven't grown as well as I expected and have only produced smallish fruit but they still tasted like pineapples:snorky:

Leave them a bit longer and see if they turn red but if not they should still taste ok.All in all they look pretty healthy to me:blue thumb:

It's probably a mould, due to the damp conditions at the moment. They need a bit of sunshine and dryer conditions.
