My honeysuckle was doing well but now the leaves are going brown and dropping off:

What can I do to save it or is it game over?
    Thanks

L M Road Rage, if those are the lower leaves, then it is normal, so don`t worry.:thumb:

Its not dieing, but it has got very bad mildew (symptamatic of the poor weather weve had and high humidity levels).

    It will come back fine.

Ideally you want to spray with a systemic fungicide fortnightly from leaf break to avoid mildew in future. I think the domesticly available fungicide you want is called fungus fighter (or a similar name).

Hi Little Miss earlier this year our honeysuckle 'looked' like it was also dying.

I must admit I wasn't very happy about it as it hadn't been in a year and it looked like yours in the picture but now I'm happy to say it's come on leaps and bounds with an amazing amount of growth and it's getting quite a chore to keep it on the trellis work I can tell you, fingers crossed yours will settle down as well.Hel.xxx.

That's good, I started growing one this year and I thought the weather had just wiped it out. I hope the sun shines a bit so it can catch some rays ;)

One of my honeysuckles gets the same LMRR, it comes back every year though. It's been a lot worse this year, but still growing at the top. I've not been able to kill mine through neglect (only started taking an interest in gardening so lots to learn and do) come every year and flowers even though it looks 1/2 dead.
