    Hey all,

Well as the spring is fast approaching me & the father in-law to be have been making grand plans for the bottom of the garden (below a steep bank). Some will remember my yorkstone patio project & vegetable patch building from last year!

We are hoping to convert an area of dead grass under some large oak trees into a secret garden type area. Since not much grows down there as it is mostly in the shade all day im looking for some suggestions on what to grow. Mostly interested in shrubs & wild grasses and such, want it to look 'wild' and be a nice habitat for wild animals & creatures alike. I already have some kocchia and cerinthe purpurascens seeds which were kindly sent by some on here which I intend to grow for down there.

Any suggestions will be much appreciated, thanks for your help GC!

I have some foxgloves & hostas in another spot nearby, the foxgloves were grown from seed & are just starting to get well established, hopefully there will be lots of growth this year!
