But for a boggy, damp area. Do such mixes exist? I have a rather wet area that I'd love to sow some wildflower seeds in. There is no grass left there (just soggy mud/earth)...I know the ground will need preparation, but does anyone know of one?

    Hi Aaron

I've used a wetland mix in the past which if i remember was 80% grass and 20% Wildflower, I bought from Green-tech (www.green-tech.co.uk), if it's not on their website give them a call they're usually really good at sourcing things for you.

    Hope this helps

The people you want Aaron, are http://www.wildflowers.co.uk/. They supplied plants to two of my Chelsea gardens. The plants were wonderful and the service good. Below are pictures of the poppies at Shinglesea and the turf seat in The Pilgrim's Rest.

    Cheers Chris

The only problem I am finding is most seed mixes are for large areas. I only need enough for a couple of square metres!
