Wildlife Moments Top Thirty Photo Comp..!!!

    :thumb: Another new photo comp which I am sure will attract many of you.. I just thought this might add extra interest on your walks or in your gardens during the summer months.. I hope you will all enjoy it.. :gnthb:


    These comps will run through the Spring & Summer Months only April - October...

    :) There have been some superb wildlife photos posted by lots of you now in other forums on GC so I thought this would be a super way to display your prime shots..!! :yho:

    :wink: It can be anything from the tiniest insect to the biggest Raptor... Amphibians to Reptiles.... A mouse to a Deer.... Whatever you can catch in your lens....:gnthb:

    :old: NO PETS & all animals, insects whatever must be ALIVE when photographed.. No dead spiders please...!!! :lollol::old:

    The competition will run for the summer & the winning photos will be displayed in our End of Year Gallery.. :old: Please please all, read the guidelines below before entering..!! :gnthb:

    :gnthb: There is plenty of scope for everyone here I think... So all that remains for me to say is Happy Shooting & Good Luck...!!! :gnthb:



    The competition is of course based on the Integrity & Honesty of the entrants first & foremost...!!


    1. All entries to be submitted by 23.59Hrs on the last day of the month of the competition.

    2. You can enter up to five (5) pictures.

    3. Give your picture a title

    4. No Pets & all subjects to be alive when photo taken
    .

    5. Photos have to be taken within the current 2 month period of this competition & year..

    * "Competitors are advised that they should ensure that their camera's time and date function is set correctly as EXIF data attached to most images is available to moderators and other competitors. *

    6. Image to be, "as taken" ..
    NOT to be altered in any way OTHER than..
    a) Cropping/Enlargement.
    b) Insertion of text, for copyright reasons, if desired.
    c) A single colour plain border only, permitted, no frames..
    ( use of a.b. & c. are of course optional)

    Any image deemed to be altered will be deleted.. Mods decision is final.

    7.
    Post your photos within this thread for entry into the competition. Display your photo up to full size 600x800.. No thumbnails or links please..!

    8. The winner will be decided by votes by the users of the forum.

    Users Vote Guidelines below:-

    1. Competitors cannot vote for any of their own photographs.

    2. Competitors vote on a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place basis with 1st place carrying 5 points 2nd place 3 points and 3rd place 1 point - The photograph with the most vote points wins etc 3. Competitors votes should not be cast until after the competition closes and be in before 11.59pm three days after the competition closes unless otherwise stated.

    All members of the forum get a vote, not just those who've submitted pictures.

    :scratch: This comp seems to have got a bit stuck now so have upped the number of entries from each member to 5 to hopefully give it a bit of a kick start..I thought this would be a busy as the macro flower comp too.. Ah well there we are... :wink::D
