For several year now I have had a very pretty variegated 'Euphorbia characias subsp' . it bloomed happily year after year, then last year I thought I would try to get some seeds from it, and duly cut off the long stems with the dead flowers and put in a bag and hung it up in the shed. Sadly this winter it died! but then I remembered the seeds. When I looked in the bag, there was no seeds to be seen, only some chaff like looking stuff. Undaunted I spread this on a seed box and covered with soil and forgot about it, other than to give it a drop of water occasionally. to my surprise some of the seeds actually sprouted, and I hastily brought them into my conservatory, where I have been tending them like an old mother hen. The question lies, how much water should I give them, as I am frightend of losing them, already some have turned their toes up ... are they hard to raise? As although I have gardened for years, I have never done the seed thing....

Hi Seekeras far as your watering is concerned just keep them moist not wet and they should be quite easy to raise as long as you get the watering correct remember MOIST NOT WET.

I can't seem to get my photo up, but I have managed, (don't know how) to produce a link to the seedlings in question

As you have several :thumb: I would put them in individual little pots and try a variety of conditions, inside, outside, sun, shade. Good luck.

In answer to your earlier question Seeker,I cannot see why they cannot have some sunshine but I would avoid direct sunlight.Just start them of in shaddy sunlight.
