Would sibirica (Dance ballerina) do well inside pond (crown submerged or above surface but roots permanently in water), or will it rot?

I have three bare root plants sprouting strongly so can also experiment with two outside and one in.

    Thanks!

    Hi ..
that particular variety likes well soggy soil, so best as a marginal pond plant

    Crown above the water

Hate to disagree, but as it thrives in a sunny position, in moist but well-drained, ideally neutral to slightly acid soil. Will tolerate some dappled shade, though it flowers best in full sun. Would expect the roots to rot in a really wet situation.

Thanks both, also online searches give very confident advise of Definitely Yes and Definitely No

I might just have to experiment a bit.

Has anyone grown this particular one (Dance Ballerina Dance)?
