Will it be ok? :(

    I've managed to break the growing tip (top inch of tendril thats growing with bud on end) off one of my climbing roses by mistake.

    I'm so cross with myself..will it be ok?:cry:

    with most plants this makes it bush out rather than die, but i'm no expert, especially with roses...fingers crossed x

    Hi Hetty,

    It will be just fine, the only thing I would consider is if it is a messy cut then snip it to a bud with a sharp pair of secauteurs.


    Roses are tough as old boots, yours will be fine, I promise.

    Hi Hetty Just cut it down to the next outward facing bud then that will create another Bloom:)
