    Hi All,

I have some Hispi cabbage that are about 4 inches tall, i have reared them in my conservatory but i am running out of room in there, so i decided to put them in the grow house. The grow house is a 4 tier with a plastic cover. I put them in there and was pottering about in the garden when i went back about 15 minutes later they had all wilted. Any ideas as to why this would happen? I have now put them back in the conservatory and they are back to normal after about an hour or so.

    Thanks
    Rusty

Could have been too hot for them in your grow house.

    Probably what Bluedun said.

Was it really sunny? The temps can soar in those mini-greenhouses if you don't open the vents.

At 4" tall they don't need or like the temps they're being exposed to. And, if they are now so big it's about time to plant them though given the temps this week they would benefit from some cover. Best bet might be to take out of the the grow house and park in a sheltered corner outside for a couple of weeks and then plant.
