We are going on a cruise on her sister ship, Queen Victoria next month

Some people don't like water Shiney

I was having this conversation with someone else a while back - she prefers to fly, spending hours cooped up in a metal tube. Me, I like the gentler pace of travelling by water...although our proximity to Southampton/Portsmouth is also very convenient for cruising. One hour drive, arrive at terminal, bags are whisked away for us and sent to our cabin and check in is smooth, unhurried and polite.

Sadly, this next time we have to fly to Rome to pick up the cruise ship...but it'll be worth it
