    Hi,

    I have seen a window bird feeder for sale.
    The idea of seeing birds up close sounds nice but am i right in thinking that these could lead to birds crashing onto the glass?

    Regards,

    Nest door's have one, they haven't had any birds crashing into their kitchen window.
    Occasionally wood pigeons crash into our French widows for no reason at all, but then I think they're a bit thick.

    I'm sure if there is a feeder attached to the pane of glass they'll be less likely to fly into it than normal. Best way to find out though would be to buy one and see what happens. If lots of birds keep getting hurt you can always use the feeder elsewhere with a little adapting.

    Trial and error I think if they crash into it just move it somewhere else, Make sure it out of reach of the cats
    I had a sparrow that flew into our conservatoy window this year, No harm done but I wanted to take a pic of the outline that it left amazing, all the dust the birds carry on them, comes out on the glass and leaves a perfect outline of the bird fantastic :thmb:

    Three questions;

    Is that nice looking young lady your daughter?

    Why is she wearing ear defenders?

    Were you singing?
