Wine Bottle edging?

I have been wondering what to use as edging for my potager and thought I might use upturned empty wine bottles, I have tried in vain to find any pictures of any completed projects, has anyone else done this and if so can I see pics?

 

Only collect Antique bottles myself ,which are too valuable for the garden...But I have found this..

Not a difficult thing to do, set them in a trench of concrete.

Not sure id do it for a client due to the health and safety isues if someone fell into it.

Yeah I had seen that one, just wanted to see one that was a 'finished project' ie: without the labels on! thanks for that anyway, I will carry on trawling the net and will post if I find any more pics. I think safety wise they should be fairly sturdy being the bottom of the bottles shouldn't they? they would be for my potager and not anywhere near where I would be using a mower or strimmer?

 

Makes you wonder how much they drink!

Hic indeed! have worked out would need around 200 bottles (maybe more) to edge all the beds so I think I will have to go back to the drawing board!!
