I've just taken a wander around the garden for the first time in a couple of weeks and have had a couple of pleasant surprises.
My low so far has been -3°c but a few things that I would normally have under cover are looking ok :)

I was given this plant by Charlie Pridham. As there is uncertainty over its id it is known as the Trout Farm plant as he grew it from seed he collected in the trout farm on Madeira. Some frost burn but otherwise a long way from keeling over...............

Cyperus alternifolius in my "pond" is doing way better than I had hoped for................

Another from Charlie - Caiophora hibiscifolia....................

Whilst it does have some frost burn if the winter gets no worse than this I'm hopeful that it will survive..................

Passiflora "Amethyst" still has flower buds...................

Nicotiana glauca continues to grow despite being very exposed...................

Iochroma australis is still in leaf...................

A first year Vestia foetida seedling....................

Another first year seedling - Nicotiana glauca................

Echium candicans still looks healthy enough...............

    And finally, Rhodochiton....................

Clearly there is plenty of time for the weather to turn nasty and those that can be moved will be moved if it turns. But I am rather pleased so far.

After the recent cold snap the Echium looks as if it is toast. The Iochroma have defoliated but I'm not worried as far as their prospects go. The Nicotiana are still looking okay too.
@PeterS - amazingly the Caiophora is still looking ok. I haven't forgotten, just a bit housebound with my other half at the moment.
