Winter Woodland Walk (very photo intensive)

    I went out with my camera today so thought that I'd take a walk in the local woodland. Caught a few birds too in the process! It's quite a fair sized woodland so it's good walk too, some photos taken along the walk.. some off the beaten path too!

            Thank you, it really was a pleasure to get out and walk.. and despite the weather saying it would be cold.. it really wasn't it got to 7C, even 8C under the tree canopy. It felt very Springlike. Unfortunately because the woodland is largely evergreen we don't get the Spring flowers like Narcissi, Daffodils and Crocus, due to a lack of light on the woodland floor. That was the only downside, as Spring flowers make excellent subjects!
