I'd be grateful for some advice on where I'm going wrong with my wisteria. I bought it a month ago and it was doing fine but in the last week the leaves have started to develop dry brown spots and some of the new shoots are looking limp and a bit deformed!

It's in a large pot on the patio in full sun for most of the day. It's watered every other day.
It does get very windy so I'm wondering if this has anything to do with it?

    Here's a photo of it.

    Any help would be appreciated!

:) Hi & Welcome to GC Bennylangdale..
I have similar marks on the leaves of mine too..
Mine grows on a North & East facing corner wall & with all the wind rain & cold weather we had earlier in the year, I had put it down to that, anyway as it is growing well as usual that was what I put it down too.. Somebody else on here may know more though...;):thumb:

Benny, it`s suffering from scorch. A type of physiological disease cause by the suns rays ( usually ) being magnified by water droplets. It can also be caused by winds and draughts.:thumb:
