This morning I went into our local convenience store to grab a paper and a pint of milk. For some unknown reason (I'm beginning to wonder whether it's entirely wise for me to go out without a responsible adult in tow) I managed to leave my purse on the counter. How stupid can you get! It contained all my credit cards and - unusually for me - rather a lot of cash. I only realised the damn thing was missing hours after I'd lost it. Amazingly, I've just got it back with all the contents intact! The lovely Asian shopkeeper had kept it safe for me all day and he refused to take any money for his trouble. His shop is in the poorest area of town so I am extra lucky - obviously the neighbourhood tea leaves hadn't surfaced for the day. I think from now on I'd better have everything attached to me by means of elastic, like some sort of overgrown toddler. :rolleyespink:

There's lucky Clare. I know that terrible hollow feeling at the bottom of your stomach when you do something daft like that. :dbgrtmb:
