Wool and bracken compost

    Got some WOOL AND BRACKEN compost! Of course I have my own compost in the compost bin, but I can use this to bulk it out, enrich it and make more.
    Will try it out this afternoon.

      Yes, it's a new product - on another forum some people mentioned that they used small pieces of wool in their compost/mulch, also hair clippings....
      I am going to try it out this evening...I don't imagine the results will be apparent for several weeks!!

        Hair is very rich in nitrogen - about 15 times richer than manure. It does however take quite a while to break down.

          Hi, I am very keen to hear of any tried and tested recipes for sheep's wool and bracken compost as we have plenty of both in these parts............any hints or links would be much appreciated :gnthb:
