Woos At The Thames Barrier

Great pictures Woo !! - Here are a couple of pics of our barrage on the Tees which is now tidal up to Stockton. There is also a white-water canoe course fed by the river - see second pic. The lock allows small vessels upstream.

Oooh, must have been a lovely day out for you woo, judging by the sky and the quality of the light in your photo's.
Glad you shared the photo's with us, it's somewhere I haven't been to and it gave me a good idea of what to expect; thank you.

 

You'd really *want* it to be if visiting the Thames Barrier though, wouldn't you Because I don't think I'd want to be there if it was actually *needed* and in use!
