To day i went for a walk down to the river,it was quite warm and the river was at its highest point and just like a mill pond not the best conditions for river birds but I just had to get out after two days of rain:)

Hi Scrungee in the 60's and 70's everyone fished the river,I remember cacthing 100 eels in one day Flatfish and between October and March large Cod came up river to warmer water, but now I think its a generation thing never seen anyone fishing anywhere on the river for years,I guess young people just don't go out anymore their all on their X boxes and modern technology, just my humble opinion of course:)
