Glad you've been out and about, Woo. Nice pics. I like moorhens - their babies are especially cute, like little balls of angora wall with long knitting-needle legs. :hehe:

 It really is great to get out again after a spell of illness Woo & that was such an inspirational walk.... Grounds you...!! Gives you the wonders of life & nature all in one... I am sure, as you do, always ask myself... How do life & nature get along.... ?????? Apart from the obvious disasters,,,, very well it seems...!! Surprisingling in some areas, sadly not others, but we have to be thankful for what we have....
I think your photos *& othes of your area show how adaptable life, nature & the world are despite what we chuck into it.....!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much Woo.....

    Hey Woo,

Great pics, glad you're out and about again.

I was fishing in the harbour when a welsh family stopped next to me to watch a gillemot, the mother said "Oh look, a diving duck !"

She must have got the vibe i was sending out as a few seconds later she turned round & said to me, with a slightly embarassed look, "Its not a duck, is it"
