Lovely to see Tiny enjoying the walk too.

Righto, seems I'm missing a trick somewhere ... need to go and order myself a "Private Keep Out" sign :heehee:

Thank you, woo - I thoroughly enjoyed walking with you, Matt and Tiny :blue thumb:

Lovely to see you out walking with Matt and Tiny and so nice to hear your voice:love30:

That walk you have done,if you keep doing it you will soon be quiet fit and not out of breath so much.A sign of fitness is that you can hold a conversation whilst walking without sounding breathless. When we are out walking along the same sort of paths that you are walking on. Said to Mr Kandy I could do with one of those hero cameras to strap to my head so that I can record the wildlife as we walk along. This morning we had a Green Woodpecker down on the path in front of us and also a nice Red Kite flew up from the branch he was resting in:biggrin:

Thanks for sharing with us and looking forward to some more walks.

PS,the walk we did yesterday the farmer has put up a couple of Keep out signs but a lady we met with her dog said that on very old maps the footpaths are marked so that people can walk down them but this farmer (who's land our village is built on) told the locals he wants to keep it as a nature area for the Muntjac deer and the many wild flowers that grow in the wood.

I wonder if the owners are putting up the signs to keep the homeless and illegal migrants from setting up camps as we have a few tents in the spinneys in the big town where I was born and this could be what the owners want to avoid:scratch:

Thank you @Jiffy my friend for your kind comments,my son has a GO Pro Hero camera, but he did say that it was a wide angle lens and you have to get close to the wildlife for it to be any good, not that I know much about them, but did ask him when I was thinking of getting one:smile:

Great photos @wiseowl . We love a walk in the woods. It's good for the dogs too. Many years ago though we had one experience that was less tranquil.

I'm a fan of Autumn colours so one year I booked an October weekend for my wife and I in the Forest of Dean. Once in the woods we found that there were no official walkways to follow nor any indicators on any of the intersections. Dusk was starting to fall and were aware that the car park gates were locked at dusk. Thankfully we managed to find a way out in time. I think it is fair to say my wife was getting a little bit stressed by the end.

                      G.
