        Some lovely pictures again Woo. :dbgrtmb: I like the one of the bridge. I've learnt when I'm out and about now to study buildings etc. more closely and look up at the taller ones. It's amazing how much detail you discover and the workmanship that's gone into it. :)

            Certainly looks like a Sandpiper, but they are usually summer visitors from April onwards ?

            resident,breeding on all suitable coasts, and inland on E Anglia (Breckland) and parts of N England ,Scotland,and Ireland;otherwise common winter visitor to all coasts and widespread passage migrant inland.

                scarce passage migrant ,most frequent SE England from Wash to Sussex, and NE England from Solway to Dee,
