This morning I went for a 7 mile cross country walk just to test my new walking boots, ,sleet, very cold wind, but felt just great it got my blood sugars down to a steady 4.7 and now I am going to have my chicken salad lunch;):blue thumb:

This was flying very low and made a lot of noise but didn't stay long

@wiseowl we used to wear our brand new walking boots around the house for say twenty minutes at a time every day so that we could check for any sore points. We never wore them outside until they were broken in so never had to worry about dirtying the carpets.:snorky:

By not wearing them straight away outside we didn't have the worry of having sore feet and toes after walking for miles and then having to walk back to our car with sore feet and heels:biggrin:

Thanks for the photos I enjoyed that walk from the comfort of my sofa:biggrin:
