Getting towards the end of the production season, only 20,000 left to do, mainly Marigolds, Salvias, Dahlias and Petunias, Nicotiana, Rudbeckia and a few thousand carpet bedding plants from cuttings.

    Polytunnel filling up.

I have just sown 9,000 Marigold Pefection Mixed seed this morning so we could be very busy end of next week.

There are only two of us permanent but have 2 helpers from the parks when needed during april/may.

Some beds are expected to be planted for Spring Bank Holiday so I am hoping for some good growing weather.

LMRR, we are on the Fleet side of Weymouth near the Littlesea Holiday camp.

Oh no! a GC invasion could be imminent now I've given away our whereabouts.

Sorry, Health & Safety has just stepped in and said we are not covered insurance wise for invasions.:hehe:

Amazing place to work strongy, but I'm sure it must get hot in there at times.

Do you overwinter much in the way of specimen plants for bedding out each year, it would be a shame to waste all that lovely greenhouse space during the winter.
