Has to be Katherine Jenkins, whenever I see her on telly I am always amazed at just how stunning she is!! She sings pretty good too!!! :yess:

I pretty well like her as well but not sure if I would say the world's most beautiful woman ... at the same time, don't know who I would say I think she is ... as there is probably more than one ...

When I was a young lady (many years ago) I thought Sophia Loren was ... and at the same time Brigit Bardot ...

 

There are too many to choose from.

Are we talking about physical beauty? Because if we are there are many, many of those.

Or are we talking about the more important form of beauty, which boils down to a big heart and a good soul? Because I suspect there are a lot more of those.

I would say Katharine is sweetly pretty rather than beautiful. But then it's all in the eye of the beholder anyway. Are we allowed to trawl the past, as well as the present? If so, Vivien Leigh, aka Scarlett O'Hara, would be my choice. Winston Churchill was apparently awestruck.

I got this a lot in the navy. go into a bar full of ugly women, after a few drinks look up and say

There are so many aren't there, very few from current times though, todays physical trend is 'obvious' and 'trashy' - loathesome traits.

when I was in the army, and we had a weekend pass and went to a nightclub, I always targeted the girl who used to sit at the table, miming the words of the song being played while looking cheesed off and sad as her friends danced and frolicked on the dance floor

then, her friends used to 'spur her on' after I showed interest .... and I always had a good night

time was short, and most of my mates who chased the pretty girls went home 'empty handed'

and funnily, I found that many of these girls had the nicest personalities and ended up being genuine friends
