I was thinking (stunning, I know); you have compost and you have wormeries. Is there a combo for best of both?
On GW they made a wormery from an old barrow and added £5 of worms (500!), so if you add that many additional worms to your compost bin instead, would you get any added benefit?

In essence you will have combined the wormery with the compost - wormpost! Think I shall try it as an experiment.

If your compost heaps like mine - it has loads of worms in it anyhow - so I already have that

Oh it does, but would an extra 500 worms or more have any effect do you think? Like a worm metropolis lol

My green cone (cost £5 from my local council delivered) does just that, it just seems to be one seething mass of those red worms. Adding another 500 would make no difference at all - although they might be good to get it started if you had none to begin with.
