    IMG_2223.JPG Taken aback by this creature ....6 to 8" long and hard to tell of it is alive or dead. Looks like some sort of tropical caterpillar
    Very scary and I wonder if it is toxic :gaah:
    Do I knock it off, leave it? :noidea:

                  Whole lot of buds to open v soon. I love it. :yay:
                  It has wonderful foliage too...glaucous and sculpted

                      Its a Purple Plumey Thing :biggrin: I got the ID for this plant beginning of the month . @Silver surfer identified it as Sanguisorba obtusa within the hour ! I just bought one last week , looks good , it flowers from June to September and is fully hardy . What's not to like :blue thumb:

                        It was very popular at hampton court this year. I love fluffy things but it was selling at £15 a pot and funds are tight this year so next year I will get one. I think they are fantastic!

                          I got mine at Beetham GC in Cumbria - a long way from Bucks ! It was £5.99 for a good sized plant in a 3 litre pot. I reckon in a nursery you should get one for £4.99 ish.
