This was the before, a shed that looked like a "cut'n'shut" job whose boards were so rotten you could put your hand through them and were falling off like autumn leaves. Thought I'd better have it down before it fell down!

But during demolition, it was discovered that though the boards were well rotted, the frame was as solid as could be. I could have easily had new boards put on but - too late now!!

    To be continued!!

Is this the new GC Soap?

Will the new shed fall down? What is lurking beneath the foundations? Will a "Job's Worth" from the council arrive and say........."

Could be a real pot boiler MD. Certainly way more interesting than the telly.
I'll tune in for the next griping, sorry I meant gripping episode :D :D

I Hate sheds.....When I purchased this little house a 6th of the tiny garden was taken up with a shed positioned on the best spot in the garden 8X10 worth of ugleness.I managed to give it away on the condition they took it there and then.where will you keep your stuff wailed my sisters..how much room do you need for a Spade,Fork,Hoe and an old bike?I asked The climbing rose in that corner is the one that has grown the best...I find on reflection if you have space you fill it, I have not much space here. Ah, if only it was just a spade and a hoe! But by the time you add a wheelbarrow, a sack barrow, numerous pots, tubs and seeding trays, bags of compost, sand and grit, various sprays, feeds and weedkillers, hoses, sprays and pump sprays, not to mention gadgets and widgets and - and - and!! And I want somewhere to store the overflow from the house! Haven't got a garage, y'see, nor a bike!!

And have you never heard of Murphy's law - stuff expands to fill the space provided!! (Original: work expands to fill the time available - as any theatre nurse will tell you!!!!)

Yes I did wonder about that, I did have this tiny patch paved so only have a border... a mower would have caused a problem no room in the kitchen for one of them... have a problem where to put the ironing board it is behind the door in the bathroom at the moment. :D

Ditch the ironing board Rosie. And either use a blanket on a table, or forget the creases and let them fall out themselves. [IMG]

We have a cut 'n' shut shed! It's a smaller version of what it was, hacked to squeeze into a corner. It houses all my gardening implements & lawn mower and has a nice space underneath for my frogs to live [IMG]

A good place for an ironing board is at a car boot sale with a price sticker on it! :D
