Yes I think she was very good....just a little bit different than the others who all seem to sound the same.

She does have a nice voice, but I'm afraid she's not quite a unique sound. I was put in mind of Eliza Doolittle, Katie Meluah, and even that American girl who's name I've currently forgotten. Tall thin blonde girl who always wears cherry red lipstick.

Trouble is with X Factor, I'm sure they do occasionally get some genuine talent, but its so hard to see it past the smug conceited arrogance of that lad from the defunk 90s boy band, the irritating voice of the wife of a spent rock star, and the all-round comedy of that funny little man they keep letting in.

Formerly of the Pussycat Dolls I believe. When they first came out, for weeks I thought they were a novelty transvestite/camp act like Boy George or my favourites, Sigue Sigue Sputnik. It took my wife ages to convince me that they were meant to be serious.

I hate the x-factor. That is all I have to contribute.

Me too. I don't watch it at all. And I was one of those who re-bought Rage Against The Machine's single so it would get to Christmas number one ahead of the X factor winner ;) (it helped that I like RATM anyway...)

Nothing like a bit of Killing In The Name to get you in the festive spirit! Made carving the turkey interesting

:) So, if you don't like, it don't watch it .....simple.
But as one of my favourite singers once wrote "Don't criticise what you can't understand"

Here is another lovely song sung and written by Abi Alton.
