No pictures I'm afraid - forgot the camera - but Yalding Organic Garden has now reopened after a long and rather uncertain break. It's a nice place to visit if you're out in the Kent countryside and the refurbished cafe (which has an outdoor terrace for days when the sun makes an appearance) is certainly a vast improvement over the old one. No more concrete vegan fare.

Thanks for that Claralou, I wondered what it was like now. We first went some years ago and it was really good but last time we went (last year) the urn had broken down in the cafe and we couldn't even have a cup of tea. Our boat is moored not far from there (we were there today to celebrate my mother-in-laws 92nd birthday as she wanted a little cruise!) so we pass it regularly. I guess it will be shutting for the end of the season soon so we'll try to check it out before then.

    Hi Chris

The cafe plans to be open throughout the winter and may even start serving meals in the evenings if things go well. Great, enthusiastic new team - I thought the food was very good indeed!

I've never heard of it before, if ever we are out that way we will pay it a visit, it's always good to get a personal recommendation - Thanks Clare!
