    Hi,

I bought this Yam at the Asian shop today.
Can anyone tell me more about it?
Is it one of the more tropical ones?
    Or the Chinese one?

    Thanks

Hi Sirius......sorry you didn`t bought a Yam , but you bought a cassava , boil some water in the kettle and gently poor over it , you need to remove the wax otherwise will not germinate.
I`ve tryed already 2 times to germinate one of those with no luck , I think it just need warm , same as the eddoes they will coming out in differentle reletate to the country of origin.

    Sal,

Doh,:wallbanging: I was hoping it would be the air potatoes/Dioscorea.
I will pot up, and if it grows, great, if not, too bad.

I had to come up with an excuse at work why I needed to go back to that client. Well I popped in there, but I really wanted to go to the shop next door :lunapic 130165696578242 5:
